Tengo un muchas de piedras de lava de La Palma en mi casa. Trabajo a menudo con mi origen y la identidad cultural, y en este momento estoy trabajando con los círculos y otras formas geométricas, en las que encajo bjetos y / o mi cuerpo. Como intentando encajar en una cultura, un país .. etc, y encajar dentro de la norma.
Es curioso que tenga tantas piedras de lava, pienso en esto también es como una especie de nostalgia e idealización de un lugar – siempre queremos estar allí, donde no estamos.

I have a lot of lava stones from La Palma at home. I work often with my background and cultural identity, and right now I am working with circles and other geometrical forms, where I fit in objects and / or my body. Like fitting in a culture, a country… etc, and fitting into the norm.
It is funny that I have so many lava stones, I think of this also as a kind of nostalgia and the idealization of a place – we always want to be there, where we aren’t.
