Terminamos esta semana presentando a la tercera artista noruega que próximamente estará trabajando en el entorno natural de Los Barruecos, donde se encuentra el Museo Vostell Malpartida.

En el idioma noruego no hay diferencia entre “piedra” o “roca”, es simplemente una pequeña piedra o una piedra grande. En mi improvisación con piedras, elijo trabajar en los entornos en los que vivo. Una gran cantidad de grandes piedras han caído por debajo de las altas montañas alpinas. Son sólidas e inmóviles, sin embargo también recuerdan que las montañas están siempre vivas y en movimiento. Encontrar mi camino hacia, en y alrededor de ellas, trabajando tanto con la velocidad, como con la quietud y el equilibrio, tratando de encontrar mi lugar entre los bordes afilados y los bien redondeados.

We ended this week introducing the third Norwegian artist who will be soon working in the natural environment of Los Barruecos, where the Vostell Malpartida Museum is placed.

In the norwegian language there is no difference between stone or rock, it is simply a little stone or a big stone. In my improvisation with stones, I choose to work in the surroundings where I live. A lot of big stones have fallen down from the high alpine mountains. They are solid and still, but also a reminder that the mountains are constantly alive and moving. Finding my way in – on and around them, working both with speed, stillness and balance, seeking to find my place amongst the sharp edges and the well rounded ones.
